Customers welcome this long awaited move from Mercedes-Benz. The long considered notoriously expensive and cumbersome traditional Rear Seat Entertainment systems offered by many car manufactures including Mercedes-Benz seem to be falling casualty to the versatile and user friendly iPads. The fixed DVD players look set to be heading towards the dumps joining paradoxically the CDs which are being overtaken by modern technology being offered by USB sticks, music registers, iPods and iPads and a host of other systems. It was only a question of time as many customers, including the die hard anti-tech ones, are beginning to move over to the iPads as their user friendliness has exceeded expectation.
Children and adults are finding it very exciting to carry and use the same gadget in the house, at work/school and in the car enjoying the same settings, programmes and current happenings like news, games, tv shows, movies, and many other downloads wich were not possible with the DVD based entertainment.
