Mercedes-Benz ML & GL Finally Get the Off-Road Package!

Mercedes-Benz finally decided to step up to the plate and introduce an Off-Road package for the ML & GL classes. It is important to note that this package is not certified for NAFTA diesel engines and therefore will not be available on the ML 350 BlueTEC and GL 350 BlueTEC. Diesel engines are the highest sellers in this category in Canada and as result this state of affairs is not seating well with many customers. However, they are hopeful that MB must be working on certifying diesel engines too. The message from Mercedes-Benz Canada (MBC) is that beginning with January production, dealers will be able to order the new Off-Road Package for the following vehicles: ML 350 4MATIC, ML 550 4MATIC, GL 450 4MATIC & GL 550 4MATIC.
