According to Mercedes-Benz Canada, the new 2012 M-Class was developed with the understanding that it has to continue the legacy of being the original trailblazer for all modern premium SUVs. The M-Class was completely redesigned for the 2012 model year. Dr. Thomas Weber, member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, describes the new M-Class as a, “quantum leap in terms of efficiency, safety, agility, driving enjoyment and design.”The assertive new design features an aggressive AMG styled body, luxurious interior, and class-leading safety, while a choice of engines including the BlueTEC diesel or direct injection gasoline variants offer exceptional efficiency and outstanding performance.
In addition, the award-winning 4MATIC permanent all-wheel-drive system, developments to the chassis and innovative new driving dynamics systems have all further improved performance in both on-road and off-road situations.
As a result, with these numerous class-leading attributes, the M-Class is poised and ready to continue to revolutionize the premium luxury light trucks segment that it originally pioneered.
